PTE
Pearson test of English Academics also popularly known as PTE Academics is a computerized test. This is to check the English proficiency of the candidates who are aspiring for higher studies abroad as well as for immigration purposes. The Test is authorized and commenced by Pearson Publisher of Britain and EdExcel group , which is Australia’s largest examining body.
PTE is accepted by Australian Border Agency and the Australian department of immigration and citizenship for visa application.
There are 3 sections in PTE
- Speaking and writing which has 38-47 questions
- Reading has 15-20 questions
- Listening.
It is a 3 hour test which includes a 10 minute break before the listening.
